Thought I should start my 2009 year of running off right away. I ran my first race of 2009 on January 4th. It was the DeLeon Springs 5K, which I placed 1st in my age group with a time of 22:16. I had not run much over the holidays, so I was not surprised by my slower time.
I am now training for a 1/2 marathon, this time I will not talk myself out of it! I'll have another 5K in a week or so...
